Do I need hard wired smoke alarms?

Is LED better than halogen?
Yes most definitely. Halogen lighting was very popular from the 90’s into the 00’s but has been found to exceed 300 degrees celsius when on and use a lot of energy. LED’s can offer greater light for far less power usage and operate at safer temperatures.
Why are my switches and power points yellow?
UV light has damaged your plates. The latest switches and power points have UV stabilisation to prevent this damage.
